I've been fortunate enough to get my tickets at least a year apart from each other, allowing me to take the "driver education" course to keep the points off and insurance company from finding out about it. Assuming you're only getting BS tickets every once in a while, it's fine. The only thing that bites you in the ass (I think), is when you're getting insurance quotes and you're supposed to fess up and tell them in advance how many tickets you've gotten in the past (which really shouldn't be done if you don't have any points on your license).
